Songjiao Distillery: Where Aroma Meets Heritage
Located in Maotai Town, Renhuai, Guizhou, Songjiao Distillery is more than a production base for sauce-aroma liquor — it is a living museum of Chinese baijiu culture.
Visitors are welcomed into immersive spaces such as the Songjiao Postal Stamp Hall, the “Eight-Step Tasting Ritual,” and the Ancient Jar Cellar. These experiences bring to life the philosophy of “selling a lifestyle before selling liquor,” integrating craftsmanship with cultural storytelling.
At the tasting area, guided demonstrations walk guests through the eight-step appreciation ritual — from observing color to savoring the finish — revealing the depth and elegance of traditional sauce-aroma liquor.
With Song-style architecture, red lanterns, vintage wooden furniture, and decades-old clay wine jars, the site radiates an atmosphere of time-honored tranquility. Every corner tells a story of craftsmanship and cultural pride.
Songjiao is not just about liquor — it’s a lifestyle, a philosophy, and a refined art of living.
