环球评报新闻网湖南怀化讯 |这是怀化安江农校纪念园门口的一幅标语，也是我们此次“追梦中华·幸福湖南”2025海外华文媒体采访行的深切体会：“人就像种子，要做一粒好种子。”
7月28日，我们一行海外华文媒体记者走进湖南怀化，走进一段沉淀着“种子精神”的土地。此次行程，我们参访了安江农校纪念园、高庙遗址博物馆、安江杂交水稻发源地博物馆，以及承载百年商贸文化的洪江古商城。
一粒种子，改变世界
在安江农校纪念园内，杂交水稻之父袁隆平的雕像静静伫立。他身穿短袖，手握稻穗，目光坚定。正是这位将一生奉献给农业科研的老人，从安江农校走向世界，为全球粮食安全做出了中国贡献。
纪念园内，关于安江农校的历史、袁老当年在此教学与科研的事迹，以及杂交水稻技术的传播路径，展陈详实、感人至深。我们走近那段艰苦创业的历史，也走近了一个信念——“让世界远离饥饿”。
高庙遗址：回望五千年文明
随后，我们走进高庙遗址博物馆，这里是中国史前文化的重要发现地之一，遗址距今已有5000余年历史。透过一件件陶器、石器与考古现场复原图，我们看到中华文明的早期轮廓，也理解了“粒粒皆辛苦”背后的文化密码。
在怀化这片土地上，从5000年前的农耕文明到现代杂交水稻科技，种子的故事，从未中断。它不仅滋养土地，也滋养了文化、信念与国家的未来。
从田埂到世界舞台，湖南的种子精神，感动世界
参访过程中，我们还前往“耕读记”农旅融合示范点，看乡村振兴新风貌；在洪江古商城漫步，感受百年商贾文化的厚重与活力。
这一路上，我们所见的不仅是湖南的山河与人文，更是湖南如何把“种子精神”深植于教育、科技、农业与乡村发展中的真实写照。
作为海外媒体人，我们深切感受到湖南的热情、厚重与进取，也希望能把这份“从一粒种子出发”的中国故事，讲给更多世界华人听。
9月，湖南第五届旅发大会将在怀化召开，我们期待再次回到这片土地，续写更多动人的“种子故事”。

Seeds of Hope: Overseas Chinese Media Visit Huaihua, Hunan
On July 28, as part of the “Chasing the Chinese Dream · Happy Hunan” 2025 Overseas Chinese Media Tour, a group of overseas Chinese journalists visited Huaihua, Hunan. The tour included Anjiang Agricultural School Memorial Park, the birthplace of hybrid rice, the Gaomiao Ruins Museum, and the historic Hongjiang Ancient Commercial Town.
At the Anjiang campus, we paid tribute to Yuan Longping, the “Father of Hybrid Rice,” whose pioneering work helped feed billions. His statue and the exhibits reminded us that a single seed can change the world—a message deeply rooted in this land.
At the Gaomiao Ruins, we traveled back over 5,000 years to witness early Chinese civilization and its agricultural heritage. From ancient rice cultivation to modern innovations, Huaihua tells a powerful story of continuity, resilience, and national pride.
As the 5th Hunan Tourism Development Conference approaches this September in Huaihua, we hope to bring more global attention to this land of culture, innovation, and the enduring spirit of “good seeds.”
