Global Chinese Media Delegation Arrives in Zhangjiajie — A Journey of Mountains and Culture
This afternoon, members of the “2025 Global Chinese Media Leaders Hunan Tour” were divided into two groups: Group A traveled to Yueyang, while over forty delegates in Group B set out for Zhangjiajie. I was fortunate to join the latter, marking my very first visit to this world-renowned destination.
The Zhangjiajie government and local organizers had made thoughtful arrangements to welcome us. Our dedicated tour bus, decorated with a warm welcome banner, stood ready at the station, creating a sense of anticipation and hospitality. Against the backdrop of blue skies and white clouds, the journey itself felt like a prelude to something truly special.
Zhangjiajie is more than a city of breathtaking landscapes; it is also a cultural symbol of Hunan’s connection with the world. Here, our delegation will conduct in-depth interviews and exchanges, experiencing the unique charm where natural wonders and cultural spirit meet.
For us, overseas Chinese media professionals from across five continents, this trip to Zhangjiajie is not only about admiring magnificent scenery but also about embarking on a journey of the heart. Through videos and stories, we will share our experiences with the world, presenting a vivid and dynamic picture of Hunan.
