目前,小镇研发中心一期可提供2300个工位、容纳约150家企业或团队。自揭牌以来,已集中签约落地项目超过60个,总投资超过290亿元,涵盖低空经济、未来信息、环保治理、数字新媒体等前沿领域。一批具有海归背景的团队正在此孵化转化。
代表性成果包括:长沙全球量子研发中心发布国产首台套光腔锁频仪,打破国外垄断;湖南量子技术联合研发中心与北京大学合作,加速量子成果产业化;贵得研究院建设国内首套纳米银粉体装置,实现关键材料国产替代;恒凯环保总部落户,推动绿色低碳产业发展。

Da Ze Lake Returnee Town: A Changsha Model for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Located in Wangcheng District, Changsha, Da Ze Lake Returnee Town is the first officially launched “Returnee Town” in China, and an essential base for Changsha’s ambition to build itself into a global R&D center city. It is not only a hub for returnee entrepreneurs, but also a model of how “global talent” can be transformed into “local innovation momentum.”
The town focuses on four major sectors: intelligent manufacturing, future information, new materials, and biomedicine. This differentiated positioning complements other returnee towns across the country while aligning with Changsha’s industrial priorities. Supported by the Western Returned Scholars Association, Da Ze Lake continuously attracts overseas talent. At the same time, the integration with the Hunan Chamber of Commerce Headquarters Base brings in capital and market resources, creating a dual engine of “returnee innovation + business capital.”
Phase I of the R&D center provides 2,300 workstations for up to 150 enterprises or teams. Since its launch, more than 60 projects with a total investment of RMB 29 billion have been signed, covering frontier fields such as low-altitude economy, future information, environmental protection, and digital media. Many returnee-led teams are now incubating and scaling here.
Representative cases include: the Changsha Global Quantum R&D Center, which unveiled China’s first domestically developed optical cavity frequency locker; the Hunan Quantum Technology R&D Center in partnership with Peking University; Guider Institute’s pioneering nano-silver powder production line for material substitution; and Hengkai Environmental’s headquarters for green development.
The unique strength of Da Ze Lake Returnee Town lies not in the number of projects, but in its focused sectors, efficient mechanisms, capital synergy, and accelerated commercialization. Rising by the lakeside, it is becoming an ideal stage for global returnees to turn vision into reality.
